Motivation is a psychological stimulant necessary for a purpose-driven life. It’s a morale booster that gives an image of how the end of the tunnel is gonna look, no matter the bearing along it. Motivation is a unit of growth that adds value to life. Plans might have been sketched, schedules might have been drawn, determinations might have faced zero oppositions, thirsts might have been quenched, all these are needed prior to the quest (goal), the only driving force is ‘motivation’. Motivation keeps the quest interesting all the way. It reminds you at the verge of giving up why you’ve started, it whispers to your ears how far you’ve gone and how close you are to your dreams.

Exposure to motivation prepares you for the task. Motivations are diverse and inexhaustible, they can come in form of; musics, quotable quotes, speeches, books and video clips of your role model, mentor in the fields of choice, pictures of outfits, equipment, and tools used in the career of choice or interest {stethoscope and white lab coat – Doctor, wig – Lawyer, aircraft/captain’s outfit – Pilot, magnificent buildings (skyscrapers) – Civil Engineer, new recipe – Chef, picture of a successful business mogul – Businessman, picture of an outstanding college Professor – Academician, picture of a scientist – Aspiring scientist/researcher, the list is long}. All these add to your self-esteem in pursuit of aspiration(s).

The therapeutic role of motivation is dose-dependent. Therapeutic because it restores morale and peaks/surges optimism in you. The dosage of motivation you are exposed to has it’s effect on the long-run (resilience and productivity). The higher the dose the greater the yield. The more exposed we are to motivations the more efficient and energized to come alive and outlive our dreams. There is a receptor (target/center) inside of you which craves for the adequate dosage of this drug (motivation) to maximize your potentials and come out with the best of yourself. Motivations can only be insufficient, but can never be extravagant.

Motivations give meaning to your quest that’s a reason to feed yourself daily with this unit of growth and confidence, to access and enjoy its therapeutic effect.
