“He made the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south; He does great things past finding out, Yes, wonders without number. If He goes by me, I do not see Him; If He moves past, I do not perceive Him;” (Job 9:9-11).
There are so many wonderful names used in describing God but one that I love so much is what the yoruba’s of the south west region of Nigeria calls Him; they call Him Kabiyesi. Meaning the one that cannot be questioned. This implies that if God decides to grant you all you have always been asking Him in the place of prayer, no one can question Him for doing so. The same is applicable if He chooses not to answer you when you so desired, no one can question Him either.
This brings me to the question; why do we spend so much time and energy fighting the devil and so call house hold wickedness when its God that actually determines the final outcome? Why give so much credit and attention to the devil and his cohort when all you need to do is to hold on to the horn of the altar till God gives attention to your plea? The devil is not a factor to the covenant. The only factor to the covenant between the christian and God; is the blood of Jesus.
According to the focal scripture, God has the ability to do things that are beyond human comprehension. He could give you that job today without going through a normal interview. You can be offered a contract you didn’t bid for. He can do all things; so why not hold on to Him and devote that energy and time to commune with Him rather than the devil?
